first weekend in NY - where did all the money go???

You have to work to realize how important the weekend is - sleeping in, doing nothing, wasting time watching a movie etc... Brandon and I did all that - AND were busy sightseeing and exploring the nightlife of the city that never sleeps. sightseeing highlight: An exhibition of 50 of the real Oscar statues near Times Square - from their early years until today. going-out highlight: The whole West Village!!! One nice bar next to the other - although it is really expensive to get drunk in Manhattan: A regular beer on draft for 6 Dollars is considered CHEAP. But it was a great time. Next weekend I will take the Chinatown bus to Washington and visit Brandon. That's all for today/tonight. Sorry folks, I did not do anything crazy lately ;o)
