... at least not when both sexes apply for a J1 non-immigrant work visa. Upon the forms both men and women have to fill out to apply for such a visa, men have to fill out an additional form called DS-157. among the questions you find:
- Name all countries you have visited over the last 10 years with the exact duration of your stay.
- Name all organizations (work related, non profit, etc.) you belong(ed) to, support(ed) financially or work(ed) for.
- Do you have speacial knowledge of or have you ever had training in the field of fire arms, nuclear, biological or chemical weapons? If yes, explain those in detail!
I guess it is just a matter of time until women have to fill out this form as well. Or do the US really think that there are no females with a questionable background/intention? Although the obvious question is: Does anyone really think that a person with bad intentions would really be honest about them???
