Sauerkraut get together

I have been away for a while 'cause Brandon's internet apparently doesn't like my blog very much, which is why I had difficulties uploading stuff. And that's why there are no photos :o(

So here is a quick follow up what happened since last weekend: Friday we went to Richmond, Virginia, to visit Brandon's friend John for barhopping. Fun time, although I got weak and smoked a cigarette (Richmond is one of the few places left in the States where you are allowed to smoke in bars)...

Saturday we met with Brandon's colleagues from work to make Sauerkraut - yes, indeed - S A U E R K R A U T. sounds weird, but was a lot of fun. and that's how it works: you chop up cabbage, add salt, put it in a bucket and pound it until its own fluids get to the surface. Let it rest for 5 to 6 weeks and you have your homemade sauerkraut (just in case you wanna do it too).

This week has been quite uneventful, although something funny happened during my job hunt: DELTA Airlines found my resume on the job-search engine monster.com - for a job in PR!!! - and wrote me an e-mail if I wanted to apply for becoming a flight attendant with them... Not really, but I did look up the conditions for the training and, of course, you must be eligible to work in the States! Which I am not. Can't Delta READ my resume???
